| 摘 要： | 人类认识水平的提高，实践经验的积累，离不开联想。隐喻也正是在联想的基础上得以创造并被接受的。以相似性为基础的联想是英语隐喻的重要特征之一，而隐喻中的联想受到特定语言及化语境的制约，孤立的隐喻是不存在的。本从语言语境和化语境的角度出发，讨论了英语隐喻的联想特征。

It is on the basis of association that metaphor wa s created and accep ted.In terms of linguistic and cultural context,this paper discusses the metaph or's association-one of the most important characteristics of metaphor, since it does not exist alone being devoid of them. |
