Abstract:Interlanguage is a transitional language between native language and target language which is formed in the process of student's foreign language learning.It is a transitional language error.Under the guidance of teachers,interlanguage can be revised and perfected with the improvement of students'language level.Therefore,how to effectively deal with language errors in teaching will have an important impact on students'learning.By means of questionnaires and interviews,this paper carries out an investigation on the attitudes of teachers and students towards language errors in middle school English teaching in ethnic areas.The purpose is to find out the problems existing in the treatment of language errors by teachers and students in teaching and put forward suggestions for improvement.
