| 摘 要： | 在英汉成语的来源上,两者有着惊人的相似之处。同时,两国各自不同的社会、文化及宗教背景也必然反映在各自的成语中,赋予他们不同的民族特色。通过英汉成语的对比,我们应该了解到如何在不同的环境和语境中如何正确地理解两种语言的成语。

| Abstract: | There's a surprising similarity in the origins of English and Chinese idioms. But on the other hand, owing to different social background, customs and religions, differences are sure to appear in both languages, particularly in their national characteristics. By comparing English and Chinese idioms, we should learn how to understand them in different situations and contexts. |
