| Abstract: | Institutes of Education are the major bodies for teachers'in-service training in China. Over the past 20 years,Institutes of Education have created and carried on the theoretic and practical wealth accumulated for primary and secondary teachers'continuing education in China.The paper holds that Institutes of Education should create a teacher training system in line with China's national charac- teristics to face the new situations. |
