谈“形声兼会意”之所指及相关问题

目前学界常把“形声兼会意”与“会意兼形声”、“亦声”、“声符有义”等概念不加区别的运用。本文区别了“形声兼会意”的不同所指，指出会意字和形声字是边界相对清晰的原型范畴，这两种汉字结构类型在边界上的模糊性，使得“形声兼会意”这个概念的内涵和外延在使用中被不合理地放大了。基于对“形声兼会意”的分析，认为狭义的“形声兼会意”字基本可归入形声字，这种归属问题的研究与判断，对于正确把握汉字字符在构字中的性质和作用无疑是非常必要的。

About the Term Use of "XingSheng-HuiYi Character"
