文化角度下英汉习语的隐喻对比及互译策略研究

英汉习语作为英汉语言文化中的的精华,民族特色鲜明,体现了人们对于客观世界的认知。而隐喻是人类思维的重要手段,参与了人类的认知过程,因此英汉习语中的隐喻现象使得人们的语言表达更加丰富。然而由于英汉两个民族拥有不同的社会文化价值观念,使得英汉习语的隐喻在共性基础上又有鲜明的民族个性,也就造成了英汉习语隐喻互译中的难题。通过对英汉习语中的隐喻进行文化对比发现,常用的翻译策略有：替代法,转换法,舍弃法等。
