津通铁路停筑之评议

津沽铁路建成通车后,在是否将铁路延筑到北京通州的问题上,朝廷却发生了争议,争议的结果却是以改建芦汉路而告终,厚此薄彼的背后则是不同利益集团对经济利益和权力的争夺,这也使得早期铁路的修筑不单是"强国富民"之策,也沦为利益集团争权夺利的工具。
