| Abstract: | The author presents the arguments on the basis of the view that language is the basic form of thoughts and discusses the dialectical relationship between foreign languages and Chinese in the study of foreign languages. The author thinks that the improvement of Chinese, which is the basic language in learning foreign languages, influences not only the study of foreign languages but also the application of foreign languages. Therefore, attention should be paid to the improvement of one's native language while stressing the importance of learning foreign languages. |
