| Abstract: | Wuyuan Shire as one of the main battlefields between Han dynasties and the Hun has important strategic significance. Hence, prefect was mostly elected due to their influence at the time. The prefect of Wuyuan in Han dynasties shouldered the important responsibilities of resisting the Hun, protecting the borders and the frontiersmen, administering the criminals, developing economy and im- proving the livelihood of the masses. |
