论刘仁本在元末的活动

王朝鼎革之际，士人的出处选择向来是研究的重点。元末，江南士人刘仁本虽托身方氏集团，却设法为元中央主持漕粮北运，缓解元朝财政困境；整顿浙东水利和田赋，舒缓民瘼；在元朝复兴无望的情况下，仍坚持抗击明朝，死难王事。表明虽经夷族百年统治，儒家经世致用的进取精神和君臣大义的固有观念仍对江南士人产生深刻的影响。
