| 摘 要： | 传统中国社会，国家与民众之间存在着巨大的权力空间。在徽州，基层权力空间由乡绅与祠党来填补。国家民众间的徽州乡绅与守族紧密相结合，担当起了基层政权的众多管理职能，从而实现了对地方社会的控制。

| Abstract: | In traditional Chinese society there existed immense power space between state and people. In Huizhou, the local power space was filled by gentry and temples. In close cooperation with different clans, Huizhou gentry who worked between the state and the masses undertook many administrative responsibilities of local government, thus controlling local society effectively. |
