A new Trend in the US State Governments Involving in S&T Activities |

| Abstract: | his paper reveals a new trend in the US with various state governments gettinginvolvement in S&T activities since the 1980s. Its exposition starts from four aspects: new institutions for coordinating research work, a variety of institutional settings and cooperation of institutional functions, the multification of fund-raising channels and investment. The trend is of vital importance for cultivation of a national sense of research innovation. |
