| Abstract: | Liu Xie's efforts to conceive in the cultural space of The Book of Changes a relationship between literary changes and the metaphysical world ontology decides that his theory of "biantong" is to establish a unity between the historically changing world and the metaphysical world rather than a mere exploration of "back-to-the-ancients doctrine" or "inheritance and innovation." |
