英汉名源动词中反映出的认知同一性

英语与汉语中都存在着大量的名源动词。名源动词的大量存在与使用体现了人类思维过程趋向简洁化。纵观英汉两种语言中名源动词的诸多相似及体现在名-动转化过程中的相同的隐喻思维，可以清晰看到人类认知基础的同一性。这一同一性为英汉两种语言的理解与沟通奠定了基础，为现实英语教学指明了方向。

Cognitive Universality Reflected in English and Chinese Denominal Verbs

There exist quantities of denominal verbs both in English and in Chinese. The existence and use of those denominal verbs imply the tendency of human thinking process towards simplification and conciseness. The fact that the Chinese denominal verbs bear much similarity to the English ones and that the same metaphorical mechanism is involved in the noun-to-verb conversion both in English and in Chinese shows cognitive universality in human thinking process. This universality provides the basis for the communication between English and Chinese and shows the direction for English teaching.
