| 摘 要： | 颜色词的隐喻、转喻构词会因文化的不同而不同,具有鲜明的民族文化特征.在中英两种不同文化语境下,通过对两种文化中的颜色词的隐喻、转喻构词进行对比,以发现它们的共性和差异,从而加深英语学习者对英汉两种不同语言和文化的理解和认识.

| Abstract: | The metaphoric and metonymic meanings of color will vary from culture to culture. They are cultural specific. In order to find the similarities and dissimilarities between them, we compare the metaphoric and metonymic word forma- tions in the Chinese and English cultural context. By comparison, we can have a better understanding of the Chinese and English language and culture. |
