| 摘 要： | 根据德国译论家威米尔的目的论,译者为了达到委托人的已定目的,针对不同的译语读者,可以采用适当的翻译策略,如诺德的纪实性翻译和工具性翻译。在《红楼梦》的翻译过程中,杨宪益意向全世界传播中华传统文化,霍克思则意为西方读者提供消遣读物。在不同翻译目的指导下,他们采取了不同的翻译策略,成功地处理了人物对话中仿词的翻译,从而产生了不同的优秀译文。

| Abstract: | According to Vermeer＇s skopostheorie,a translator can adopt different strategies,such as Nord＇s Documentary and Instrumental Translations,in order to achieve the translation brief of the initiator.During the translating process of Hong Lou Meng,Yang Xian-yi is intended to disseminate the traditional Chinese cultures,whereas Hawkes to provide the western readers with an entertainment.As a result of their translation purposes,they have adopted different translation strategies and successfully dealt with the translation of nonce words in dialogues. |
