赞美与悲悯:茅盾、吴组缃小说人物塑造之比较

Praise and Sorrow:On the differences of the novel figures between Mao Dun and Wu Zuxiang

Mao Dun and Wu Zuxiang both were the representative writers of Social Analysis Group. But there were quite different points in the novel person molding between them. Mao Dun paid his main attitudes of praising to his "the nation capitalists" series and "the epoch females" series, which demonstrated the diversities among the writ-er, the themes and the figures. Those diversities were the obvious shortcomings against his great achievements. Wu Zuxiang presented his deep sorrow to his novel figures who were "the unemployed shop-servants" series and "the countryside women" series which naturally demonstrated the harmony among the writer, the themes and the novel fig-ures. That perfectly reflected Wu's implicit and profound style.
