随着科技的进步和社会的发展,教学手段的革新呼之欲出。多媒体是近年来计算机技术发展的产物,将其引入英语专业教学堪称高等教育的一次大胆尝试。实践证明,多媒体教学拥有传统教学手段无法比拟的优势,它不仅丰富了传统的英语教学手段,而且丰富了教学内容,提高了教学效果。本文旨在以多媒体教学手段为切入点,深入分析多媒体现代教学手段对英语专业教学的辅助作用。

Auxiliary Role of Multimedia in English Teaching

With the progress of science and technology,as well as the development of society,the reform of teaching method is in great need. Multimedia is the product of computer development in recent years,consequently,it is a bold attempt for higher education to introduce multimedia into English teaching. In practice,it is proved that teaching with multimedia has incomparable advantages over traditional teaching,and has played a positive role in English teaching. This paper is to start with the nature of multimedia to further analyze the auxiliary role of multimedia in English teaching.
