| Abstract: | As an overall review, this article presents general status of medical education in the USA in recent decades, involving newly-established schools, new disciplinary emphases in training doctors and curriculum reform. It also illustrates the considerable diversity in medical education in the USA by focusing on six representative medical schools. |
