| 摘 要： | 文化背景知识是外语学习中的一个不可或缺的部分，因为语言与文化密不可分。文章通过对文化背景理论的探讨以及在英语阅读课堂上的实践活动，阐述了文化背景的重要性，分析了文化背景知识对阅读能力的影响，探索了加深学生对文化背景的理解的有效途径：通过文化背景的解码提高阅读能力，通过有趣的课堂活动丰富学生的文化背景知识，选取真实的阅读材料加深学生的文化背景知识。

| Abstract: | Culture background knowledge plays an important role in language learning because language is closely related to culture.This paper sets to do some research on the theories of culture background knowledge and apply those theories to the teaching practice of English reading course.The author aims to improve students' reading ability by analyzing the importance and influence of culture background knowledge on reading and offering some effective teaching methods. |
