A Comparative Investigation Between Chinese Exegetics and Exegetics--A Co-discussion on the Contemporary Possibility of Development of Chinese Exegetics

Exegetics in the West and science of exegesis in China shared the initial basis. In the course of historical evolrement, however, exegetics has grown into a contemporary popular trend of philosophy, but Chinese science of exegesis is facing serious challenge of the time. The gaps have been widening between the two because Western exegetics has better adapted to innovation and steady expansion of its influence. To modernize its course of multidimensional development, Chinese science of exegesis should steadily renew its perception and apply scientific methodology.
