| Abstract: | The structure of US state higher education management boards is briefly introduced, then Texas being taken as a case study, the roles and responsibilities of state higher education coordinating board in state higher education management are stated, and then its operational mechanism, how it assesses quality and productivity in higher education and the characteristics are analyzed and summarized. |
