从明代商品经济对城市市民女性的影响，传统文化，封建的一夫多妻制等对市民女性多方面的作用，市民女性主体意识的复苏，以及传统道德沦丧之后人性的迷失等方面，对《金瓶梅》中西门庆妻妾们-特别是潘金莲，李瓶儿等人的心态、行为、意识等进行了较为深入的分析。认为在旧文化旧道德被破除的同时，新的文化道德的缺失，必然导致人性复苏与人性迷失的二元背反的歧途。

Resuscitation and Banishment of Soul:A Study of the Female Figures in Plum in the Gold Vase

This paper makes an analysis of Ximen Qing's wives in the novel Plum in the Gold Vase , especially of the mentalities, conducts and consciousnesses of Pan Jinlian, Li Ping'er, and so on. From the influence of commodity economy on urban female residents, the effects of traditional culture and feudal polygyny on urban females, the resuscitation of their subject awareness, and the loss of human nature after the ruin of traditional ethics, the authors holds that in the abolition of old culture and morality, the lack of a new cultural morals will inevitably lead to the astray as to the inconsistence of resuscitation of humanity and the loss of human nature.
