转折复句语义分类的新尝试栽

通常认为复句的转折关系就是“前后分句的意思相反或相对”，这种说法是不够全面的，本从语义关系的角度对转折复句进行了深入探讨，提出转折复句分句之间除“相反或相对”关系外，还有差异性关系和限制性关系，差异性关系又包含对比关系和衬托关系。从而对转折复句的语义关系作了全新的概括。

A New Approach to the Classification of Turning Complex Sentences by Semantic Relationship

It is generally believed that sub clauses in the turning relationship of a complex sentence are opposite to each other,while this paper does not think so. After probing into this issue, the paper argues that between two clauses of a turning complex sentence, besides the relationship of opposition,there are relationships of difference and restriction besides relationship for opposition. The relationship of difference also contains the relationships of contrast and setting off.
