土家族的研究与发展

土家族历史悠久,源远流长。土家族从1956年11月被确认为一个单一民族以来,土家族研究经历了20世纪50年代的民族识别与认定;改革开放以来以落实民族政策和民族事象为主的研究;90年代末开始的整体研究三个阶段。当历史进入21世纪后,土家族研究无论在形式或内容上,都已进入一个新的阶段。土家族研究的新任务是必须为西部大开发和民族经济文化建设服务;构建土家学这一民族学的分支学科;加强区域协作、形成合力、共同研究和共同发展。

The Research and Development of Tujia Nationality

Tujia nationality has a long history.Since it was established as an independent nationality in November 1956,the research of Tujia nationality has undergone three stages: the stage of identification and recognition in 1950s,the stage of research focusing on national affairs and the implementation of national policy,the holistic stage starting from late 1990s.Since the beginning of 21st century,the research has entered a new stage in both the form and content.The new task of the research is to serve the west development and the construction of national economy and culture,to construct the discipline of Tujia nationality study,and to strengthen the regional cooperation.
