Institution: | Professor of Psychology at North Carolina State University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in measurement and evaluation, vocational psychology, individual differences, and research methodology. His current research includes the construction and validation of measures of career maturity. He holds a doctorate from Florida State University and has been a consultant in research and testing for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. He is the Test Review Editor of Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Behavior, and a member of the North Carolina Competency Testing Commission. Recently he was elected a Fellow of the Division of Measurement and Evaluation of the American Psychological Association.;Consultant in Measurements and Guidance at Washtenaw Intermediate School District, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has been a secondary teacher and counselor, an Assistant to the Director at the National Assessment of Educational Progress, Director of the project which developed Michigan's Career Development Assessment, and an instructor at Eastern Michigan University and The University of Michigan, where she is a doctoral candidate. She has been a Director of NCME, has served as Secretary of the Association for Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance and as Newsletter Editor of the National Vocational Guidance Association, where she is currently a Trustee. She recently published (with J. T. Kapes) A Counselor's Guide to Vocational Guidance Instruments (NVGA, 1982). |
