熊十力的佛学观

熊十力一生学问与佛家渊源甚深。他早年以大乘义理破斥小乘教说,极力称赞空宗之手段、气魄,又为空宗终归空寂而深感可惜。他从多个方面罗列有宗之过,认定有宗“未能见体”。他对佛以缘生论代替外道神我说殊致赞赏,认为佛氏于人生黑暗的方面体会最为深刻,足资猛省,并且常以佛氏之悲心切愿、真修实行相勉励。可以说,佛氏无反对佛家之心,有扶助佛学之愿。

Xiong Shi-li's Opinion on Buddhism

There is a complex relation between Xiong Shi-li and Buddhism.He uses Mahayana theory to criticize Hinayana in his earlier times.He appreciates Madhyamika very much,but regret its trend to Emptiness.He insists that Yogacara is beyond truth.He loves Chanzong,and appreciates Buddhism uses Law of Dependent Origination instead of the god.He accepts Buddha's knowledge about the sin of persons.He admires Buddha's wills and acts.So we could say Xiong wants to help Buddhism but not to destroy it.
