谈文言文写作与国民文化素质的提高

我国几千年来流传下来的语言文字书籍浩如烟海，其中90％以上都是文言文。为了让学生了解我国的悠久历史和灿烂的传统文化，弘扬和培养其民族精神以及爱我中华、报效中华的爱国心和民族自尊心、自信心与自豪感，让学生学习一些文言文提高学生对一些以文言文为载体的民族文化精华的阅读能力、鉴赏能力与写作能力是很值得强调和提倡的事。

On Writing in Classical Chinese and Improving the Cultural Level of the Chinese People

Of the tremendous amount of books coming down from history, more than 90% were written in classical Chinese. In order to acquaint the students with the long history of our country and the glittering traditional culture, and to cultivate their love and devotion to our nation, their self confidence to and the sense of pride of our nation, it is something worth advocating and emphasizing to let the students learn some classical Chinese so as to improve their ability in reading the cultural highlights with the carrier of classical Chinese and their abilities of appreciation and writing.
