| 摘 要： | 弄人是莎士比亚在《李尔王》中塑造最成功的形象之一。弄人虽突破了他的传统身份——插科打诨、取乐主人，但又受传统身份束缚，这使他的个人形象既复杂又矛盾。他体现出下层劳动人民的优良品质、勇敢和智慧，能够冷静地观察和评判社会，但他又具有利己主义者的嫌疑，在行为上胆小怕事。

| Abstract: | Fool is one of the most successful characters coined by Shakespeare in King Lear.He not only partially breaks away from but is restricted by his professional role of telling jokes and making fun of his masters,which makes him a complicated and contradictory figure.He embodies the good quality,bravery and wiseness of the people from the lower class,observes and criticizes society calmly.Meanwhile,he is sort of self-centred and cowardly in actions. |
