| 摘 要： | 人口素质是经济和社会发展的关键因素之一。本文着重从人的素质方面探讨了欠发达地区区域经济和职业教育发展的相互关系。全文首先分析了区域经济和职业教育的概念，以及这两者互动的基本理论，即区域经济对职业教育的需求和职业教育促进区域经济的发展。然后分析了两者的互动关系，阐明了经济欠发达地区发展职业教育对促进区域经济发展的作用，以及欠发达地区区域经济的发展要求有正确的职业教育发展策略。
