| 摘 要： | 《雪国》、《死者》两部作品围绕着多雪的冬季表现了相似的主题,即生死不是泾渭分明的两个概念,而是相互依存转变的。与此同时,两部作品在审美取向上又表现出不同的追求,前者着力体现出一种幽玄淡远的东方情怀,而后者则体现出一种理性的现实批判精神。

| Abstract: | Through the theme comparison between "the Snow Country" and "the Dead", the author holds that James Joyce and Kawabata Yasunari share similar concepts on the scopes of life and death on the basis of the fact that these two ideas are mutually inclusive rather than exclusive. Meanwhile, the two novels reflect different aesthetic values against the background of East and West traditions. |
