比武招亲史实考释

文章用文史资料的研究方法对马可波罗关于国王海都女比武招亲的故事进行考证，引证了海都和海都女的真实身世，以及比武招亲的方法、地点。藉此说明，在以男性为中心的封建社会，比武招亲在婚姻自主与父母包办两者之间来一个折中，从而借助于比武的仪式在一定的风险下，将女方有限的自由选择合理化。另一方面，显示了女性情爱要素向侠义竞争的转变，是女性顽强的个性勃发和对主流文化的挑战，这也是对于带有侠情义胆的女性性格别致的审美表现，在一定意义上冲破了传统束缚女性的枷锁。
