Krashen's Affective Filter Hypoythesis and the Second Language Acquisition

The research and development of language acquisition theory provides a certain theory basis for foreign language teaching(FLT).In the 1980s,Krashen's Monitor Model offers a new theory basis for foreign language teaching.Among them the Affective Filter Hypothesis is one of the central parts of Krashen's Monitor Model.This paper will discuss what factors influence foreign language teaching from the Affective Filter Hypothesis,and give some suggestions and measures in foreign language teaching.
