| Abstract: | Coherence is an important feature of a discourse,while cohesion is a significant device to achieve coherence.This paper discusses the use of connectives in IELTS Writing and its influence on the coherence of a discourse.The paper also addresses the problems that English learners have with such connectives and provides some feasible solutions. |
