| Abstract: | In order to promote the waterway passenger terminal converting to a tourist complex from the one with single passenger transport function, the tourism function transition direction and basic condition of waterway passenger terminal are analyzed on the basis of drawing on experiences of composite function transition of typical waterway passenger terminal and waterfront tourist function transformation at home and abroad. Six terminal development paths, including tourist distribution center, real estate development, creativity industry agglomeration, cruise economic development, public landscape space, and terminal community and Recreation Business District (RBD), are put
forward, and key issues to note for the function transition of the waterway passenger terminal are pointed out. |
