| 摘 要： | 随着Internet的发展,网络上的数字图像成为信息重要载体,传统的JPEG静止图像压缩标准已经不能满足新应用的需要.为此,国际标准化组织制定了新的图像压缩标准JPEG2000.该文介绍了JPEG2000的基本原理,在与JPEG标准比较的基础上分析了JPEC2000的主要特点,并基于网络对JPEG2000应用前景作出展望.

| Abstract: | By the development of Internet, ISO has constituted JPEG 2000 as the new still image compression standard. Essential principle of JPEG 2000 and strongpoints are introduced in this papers. In the end of the article prospect of JPEG 2000 standard based on network application is presented. |
