潘光旦的"位育"论与构建和谐社会

潘光旦是我国著名的社会学家、民族学家、优生学家和教育学家。他将社会生物学与中国传统的孔门哲学结合,提出了"位育"论。《中庸》曰:"致中和,天地位焉,万物育焉"。"安所遂生",就是潘光旦所谓的"位育"。潘光旦"位育"论包括个人"位育"、社会"位育"、民族复兴和人与自然环境的"位育"四个方面。潘光旦的"位育"论对于今天构建和谐社会有重要意义。

Pan Guangdan's theory of 'weiyu'and the construction of the socialist harmonious society

Pan Guangdan is a well-known Chinese sociologist, ethnologist, eugenicist and educator. He applied social-biology theory to the Confucian philosophy and put forward a new concept of "weiyu".The Doctrine of Mean says "Let the states of equilibrium and harmony exist in perfection, and a happy order will prevail throughout heaven and earth, and all things will be nourished and flourish". Equilibrium is the great root from which grow human acting. This essay introduces Pan's theory of `weiyu' and mainly interprets the theory of `weiyu' from four aspects such as individual, society, national rejuvenation and environment. At the same time, the writer believes that to learn Pan's theory of `weiyu' is very important to construction of the harmonious society.
