Abstract: | The conceptions of information developed in Soviet philosophy are critically conceived, and the information approach accepted
in scientific, research, and practical activities is characterized. The state-of-the-art system of information concepts and
categories is analyzed, and the trend of the development of the common scientific information category into the philosophical
area is presented. The ambivalent nature of information is proved from the point of view of realistic philosophy. |
