| Abstract: | Zhang Zhidong and YuKichi Fukuzawa were great thinkers in modern China and Japan respectively.Zhang's masterpiece Quanxuepian and YuKichi Fukuzawa's Gakumon-no-susume performed important functions during the transitional stage of each country.This paper makes a comparative study on these two books and explores their differences and similarities. |
