皖籍明臣陈Xun

陈Xun是明朝初期一位很有作为的人物，虽非重臣，然其对明代社会的贡献颇大，主要在于漕运。陈Xun等为保障漕运的顺利畅通，有效治理了京杭大运河。这在客观上，极大地促进了南北经济化的交流；加强了华夏境域黄河、长江两大流域经济联系。从而，在很大程度上，减少或消除了导致分裂、动荡的不稳定因素，对于维护多民族国家的统一起了积极作用。

The Official of An Hui in The Ming-Dynasty ChenXuan

Chen Xuan was a man of great achievement during the initial stage of t he Ming-Dynasty. Although he did not hold an impo rtant post in the royal court, he made great contri bution to the society of the Ming-Dynasty. His contribution was very striking in CaoYun. To keep CaoYun unimpe ded, Chen Xuan along with other officials harne ssed the Grand Canal effectively. In fact, this greatly promoted economic and cultural exchanges between the South and the North and enforced econo mic connections of the Huang He River and the Chang Jiang valleys in China so that the unsteady factors, which would lead to t he separate and truculent situations, were decreased or avoided. At the same time, it also p layed a positive part in keeping the unity of multi-national state.
