| Abstract: | This paper describes the studies on public library ideas in China at the beginning of the 21st century and its history of propaganda and development, summarizes public library systems and some library ideas such as free services, equal services, open-stack ser- vice, library freedom and readers＇ rights. Then it analyzes the positive effects of public libraries ideas on our library practice and points out the problems to be solved in order to sustainably develop our public libraries. 29 rets. |
