在现代社会,强调应试教育的同时更加注重素质教育,二者之间并不是一种对立与否定的关系,而是一种继承与发展的关系。本文旨在比较应试教育与素质教育的内涵、价值取向、践行方式的不同,说明实施素质教育并非是要取消以往的考试录取学生的教育,也不是自由散漫的无拘束教育方式,亦不是急功近利、立马见效的教育方式,而是一种新型的、科学的、强调人才全面发展的教育方式。

A Brief Discussion on the Differences between Quality-Oriented Education and Examination-Oriented Education

In modern society,quality-oriented education should be attached to more importance than examination-oriented education,but their relationship is co-development and inheritance.This paper compares the differences of connotation,value orientation and practice method between the two modes,aiming to indicate that quality-oriented education is not the concealing of the former education mode and it is a new scientific education mode that stresses on the comprehensive development of talents.
