| 摘 要： | 1917年，京兆、直隶发生水灾，中国红十字会展开赈济活动。在这次救援活动中，中国红十字会筹款募捐，散放急赈、冬赈总计达20余万元，有效缓解了灾害对京直社会的冲击，显示出民间社团在社会救助中的巨大潜力。

| Abstract: | This article takes ShenBao as center and preliminarily investigates the relief activity of Chinese Red Cross Society in the flood disaster in Jingzhao and Zhili in 1917. It points out that Chinese Red Cross Society raised money, conducted the contribution, and distributed emergency relief and winter relief during the disaster relief. All these added up over two hundred thousand Yuan. The relief effectually mitigated the impact that the disaster brought on the society of Peking and Zhili and it manifested the great potential of the nongovernmental organizations in social relief. |
