| 摘 要： | 默里.贝尔是享有盛名的澳大利亚新派作家。他的故事总是游移于现实和幻想间,幽默而冷峻,轻快而感伤,具有较强的超现实主义色彩。本文拟从三个方面对他的短篇小说创作进行评析:物欲横流的现代文明:失落的精神家园以及后现代的表现手法:正是通过这种主题与形式的巧妙结合,默里.贝尔成功地刻画了现代社会中道德沦丧,人性扭曲和精神迷惘的残酷现实。

| Abstract: | Murray Bail is a "new fiction" writer with prestigious fame in Australia.His short fiction blurs the boundaries of fantasy andreality,With a strong color of surrealism.Three major subuects are analyzed in this paper:the deterioreting humamn relationships in modern civilization,the spiritual loss of modern people and po stmodernism in representation.Due to the skillful combination of theme and form,Murray Bail successfully depicts the crude reality in a penetrating way. |
