A Dynamic Preference Logic with Issue-Management

Questions take effects on the change of preference. In this paper we take the issue management into the setting of preference logic and propose a new dynamic preference logic with issue-management. It turns out that our logic can make the connection of ceteris paribus preference and ordinary preference dynamically and explicitly. Furthermore, by using the mechanism of hybrid logic we can talk about the preference between propositions and objects in the same level. Besides the action of asking, we also take the actions of resolution, suggestion and soft announcement into consideration in the dynamic part of the logical system. After a comparison of the effects of the four actions we show the completeness of this dynamic logical system.
