| 摘 要： | 英语的语篇衔接以“形合”为主，汉语的语篇衔接则以“意合”为主，这种差异性是造成英汉两种语言语篇表达风格不同的根本原因之一，因此，在英汉翻译中应注意这种差异性，并加以恰当应用。

| Abstract: | Hypotaxis is characterized by the link - up of English texts, while parataxis is characterized by the link - up of Chinese texts. This difference is the fundamental reason for the different styles of texts between English and Chinese, which should be noticed in the English - Chinese translation and be applied in a proper way. |
