| Abstract: | This paper intends to point out that foreign language competence and translation competence are closely related to each other, and the translator should lay a solid foundation of English. At the same time, it points out that translation is not only a pure language activity, but also involves a variety of non-lin- guistic factors, especially various cultural factors. |
