| 摘 要： | 北宋时期 ,宋、辽、西夏三政权长期并立。西夏的国土、人口、耕地 ,远不及北宋与辽朝 ,但西夏政权却长期存在 ,并与北宋、辽朝相抗衡。其主要原因 ,在于当时北宋与辽朝南北对峙 ,西夏成为维系宋辽间平衡的砝码 ,也因此形成了并非势均力敌的三国鼎立局面。这种三国鼎立局面 ,又成为影响宋夏和战的关键因素。
