| Abstract: | Turn-taking rules unveil interaction in conversations,and pragmatic strategies to manipulate turn-taking and adjacency pairs reflect speakers’ communication competence.Based on the turn-taking model proposed by the American conversation analysts and pragmatic strategies concerned,this paper attempts to explore the ways to improve English conversation competence of vocational students. |
