| 摘 要： | 尤金.奥尼尔是美国文坛迄今为止唯一获得过诺贝尔文学奖的剧作家(1936年),被人们誉为美国戏剧之父。他的成名作《天边外》描述了一个年轻人痴迷于梦想,却背叛了梦想,最终怀抱着梦想死去的悲剧。本文拟就《天边外》的主题进行探讨。
